Automatically Writing the Story?

I found this article from The Sports Economist very, very interesting.

In a nutshell, researchers have found a way to automatically scan a box score from a sporting event and write a recap about the game.

Now that's interesting, although I'm sure a lot of people in sports journalism don't find it too funny.
